Story Artist at Pixar Animation studios with 29 years experience in the animation industry. Independent Comic Book Illustrator/Author, published in three countries by Marvel, Dark Horse, Chronicle Books, Disney Press, IDW, Heavy Metal, Digital Webbing, Ankama Editions, Akileos, Fluide Glacial, Comix Buro and Aleta Ediciones.
I contributed story development and story art to the Pixar films RATATOUILLE, UP, CARS 2, THE GOOD DINOSAUR, CARS 3, INCREDIBLES 2, ONWARD, SOUL, ELEMENTAL and ELIO. I was Story Supervisor for TURNING RED and Director of the 4*Town music video 1 TRUE LOVE. I occasionally do some visual development in the art department as well.
I've Illustrated several comics and art books. I've contributed comics and illustrations to the French comics Magazine FLUIDE GLAMOUR.
I've also self published art books including BELLE DU JOUR: CHEESECAKE BY BILL PRESING, BOOKPLATE BETTIES and 54 INTERCONTINENTAL CUTIES (card deck)
At Noodle Soup I provided art direction to several animated pilots, supervised storyboard and character layout for Warner Bros. Animation's web series GOTHAM GIRLS (season 2 and 3) as well as Adult Swim's THE VENTURE BROS. (pilot and season 1)
At Jumbo I illustrated chapter books for DISNEY'S DOUG AND PB&J OTTER published by Disney Press. These included DISNEY'S DOUG CHRONICLES and DISNEY'S DOUG: THE FUNNIE MYSTERIES. I also supervised other illustrators and provided quality control on products.
I worked on several Mo Willems lead animated series here, Including THE OFF-BEATS for Nickelodeon, SHEEP IN THE BIG CITY for Cartoon Network and the short QUICK DRAW MCGRAW IN CITY-E-SCAPE.
Here I worked on many animated television commercials including THE PINK PANTHER for Owens Corning, as well as the animated introduction to THE ROSIE O'DONNELL SHOW for which I was awarded a 1998 Daytime Emmy for best main title design.
